yay fall!

even though it doesn't feel much like fall outside i am still so excited that it is here! i have all of decorations out in the house and new this year since we have a yard i get to decorate outside as well! i have the cutest fall wreath hanging on the door, little roundtop pumpkins in the yard and my candy bowl is full for our little trick or treaters from the neighborhood that will be knocking on our door come oct. 31st...can not wait! i am also going to attempt to make this beautiful pumpkin topiary i found in southern living this weekend...YAY FALL is here!!!

so i found this recipe a few weeks ago while reading the chron.

my friend LB and i tried it last monday and it was SOO good and easy! i was unaware that the deen's could make anything without a vat of butter, but this is actually quite a healthy meal! i highly recommend trying it out...i scratched the greens to put the mixture on top of as i can not stand a soggy green... ;) Enjoy!!

i have a total black thumb and i think i have found something that may help...these wine bottle nannies are not only much cuter than those horrible colored globe things on the infomercials but a great way to recycle all of those wine bottles after wine wednesday! all you have to do is fill up a wine bottle with water insert into the terra cotta stake and voila! your plants are constantly watered! i just ordered a set of 4 and can't wait to use them.
